1979 MGB
LS1 5.7ltr Chevy V8
Were do I start. This is a one of a kind, 1979 MGB Roadster. It has been painstakenly restored to the state it is now. EVERYTHING has been modified, upgraded and rebuilt to race/high performance specs. The suspension has been lowered 2 inches, polyurethane bushings have been repaced throughout, coil over front suspension, spak conversion shocks in the rear with rear anti-tramp bar kit installed to keep the power to the ground and off the competition leaf springs. 15 inch Panasport wheels with Yokohama A032 street legal race tires. Rubber bumpers converted back to '73 style chrome grille and bumpers. The entire car was dipped and coated with rust protectant epoxy paint. Extensive modifications had to be made for the radiator, engine, transmission, and gas tank. Gas tank was centered for dual exhaust. The headers system is a work of art, entering through the inner fenderwells and then dual pipes run under the car and exit on either side of the gas tank. Upgraded slotted/drilled disc brakes with competition front pads, stainless steel lines, competition drums in the rear with upgraded wheel cylinders. The Chevy LS1 5.7 liter V8 engine is mated up to the Chevy 6 speed manual. Windshield has been chromed to match side vent windows. ALL new chrome, all new rubber seals and gaskets throughout. Biscuit interior with Suffolk assembled Biscuit leather seats for added comfort. Custom made safety roll over bar. The Chevy LS1 motor produces massive torque, in a light car like, the power is out of this world. This car is putting 300hp TO THE GROUND. It is extremely fast, but is just as enjoyable cruising around town.. just be careful with your right foot!
